Bo Bendsneyder signs with Dutch Racing Team

The 14 year old from Rotterdam signed a two year deal and will be competing in the Spanish Open. He is aiming for a top ten classification.

“The first year there will be no pressure at all so I can ride free. My goal is to be in the top ten at the end of the season. The team is very professional and that will be quit exciting in the beginning. I am confident we will have a great working relationship”. Next to the Spanish Open Bo will also be competing in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. “The combination of the Spanish Open and the Rookies Cup will be fun, a lot of the guys in the Rookies Cup will also ride the Spanish Open. I love to have a demanding season, that keeps me focused. I’ve done a double program before, so that is not new to me”.

The Dutch Racing Team has commited themselves to support and educate young racing talents to get them to the highest level in motorsport. Teamchief Hans van den Oever: “Bo has allready shown us some very nice results in the past. We think Dutch Racing Team is the right team for him to further developing his career. The first year will be a learning year and we are not setting any goals for Bo yet. Showing progression during the season is much more important. The level in the Spanish Open is very high and it’s up to Bo to show if he can compete at that level. If he is showing a growing curve, I think it will work out fine”.
