Mixed feelings at Misano

With mixed feelings and eight points in his pocket Bo left the Misano circuit this weekend. It was a difficult weekend because of the rain on Friday during practice and in qualifying. The race on Saturday was on a dry track. “Eight place was the maximum result looking at the conditions. Misano is a hard track and when it’s wet it is very slippery. I went in to the race on a base setup and I knew it was going to be tough.” Bo starts from eleventh, and gains a spot at the start. After a few laps he’s in a group right behind the leaders. It takes some laps to get away from this group and try to close the gap to the leaders, but the gap is already to big. “When I finally got away from the group, I started to get in a good rythm. It was completely different on a dry track, so finding my lines and brakingpoints wasn’t that easy. In a group you can watch the other riders and adapt, but when you’re on your own it is a little bit harder. I couldn’t close the gap because the leaders picked up the pace. Would I’ve been in that group I know I could have stayed with them. So I decided to take it safely home in eight.”
