Bendsneyder 23rd in wet QP

After setting fifth time in FP3, (tenth overall) qualifying got off on a partially wet track after some showers during FP3 of the Moto2 class. Most riders went out on rain tires, but the track had already dried out to much for good use of those. Everybody came in again after two laps changing back to slicks. Bo was in fifteenth after those two laps on wet tires. In his second run he’s in 21th after some laps, when it starts to rain again. There’s under twenty minutes to go, so is that time enough to let the track dry out again ? With ten minutes to go Bo and Brad Binder head out again, but the track is still wet at some points. Bettering their times isn’t possible anymore. At the end of the qualification practice Bo is in 23rd. A real shame of the rain messing up this session. A top ten after FP3 looked very promising.

Fastest man on track was Philipp  Oettl, who took full advantage while the track was still dry.
