At the start it is Antonelli taking the lead in to the first corner. Norrodin is knocked off in the first chicane and goes down, end of his race. Brad Binder takes over the lead half way lap one. Jules Danilo sees his home Grand Prix ending in the gravel pit, not even finishing lap one. Bo Bensneyder has lost some spots in the start and is 25th at the end of lap one. At the end of lap 2 he is in 24th. In lap 3 Fenati takes over the lead from Binder. Rodrigo and Mir are penalised for jumpstarting; they have to come in for a ride through. Bo is 23rd after lap three, but wins two spots when both riders go in for their penalty. In front of the race four riders are breaking away; Fenati, Binder, Navarro and Canet. They are followed by another group of four riders: Kornfeil, Antonelli, Bulega and Migno. In lap seven Darryn Binder crashes out and Bo who was in 20th, wins a spot and goes in to 19th. One lap later Brad Binder regains the leading position in the race. In lap 13 Fenati comes back in to the lead, Canet takes second place from Binder. When Hiroki Ono crashes, Bo wins another spot and is 17th. The gap to 16th is about 2.5 seconds. He closes the gap in four laps and passes Di Giannantonio. The gap to Pawi in 15th is over 7 seconds, there is not enough time to close it. In the last two laps the battle for the victory is heating up; Navarro takes second from Binder but Binder strikes back immediately. Binder even takes first from Fenati. In the last lap Fenati is all over the backside of Binder, but Binder defends his lead and wins his second GP. Fenati is second, in front of Navarro, who is almost taken of by his teammate Canet in the last corner. The riders touch but the stay on both wheels. Bo finishes in 16th, just outside of the points. To bad for the lost places in the first lap. A strong race never the less, taking back several spots in the race, with very strong laptimes. He was running the same pace as the leading group in the middle of the race.
