The Tech3 Racing Team riders kicked off the season with a decent performance today at the Losail International Circuit aboard their Mistral 610 bikes. Remy Gardner commenced the day with the ninth fastest time, well placed inside the highly competitive Moto2 field. In working towards the race, she improved her lap time by 0.698 seconds this afternoon to conclude the first day of the season in 12th. Meanwhile intermediate class rookie Bo Bendsneyder, who started with a promising performance into her first weekend, ended the first two Free Practice sessions just 0.352 seconds behind her team mate in 19th.

“Overall, it was a quite good first day for me on this track with the Moto2 machine. We still need to find something extra in order to have more grip and a more stable bike, but I think my fantastic crew will figure it, which will be good for tomorrow. So, let’s try it on Saturday and hopefully we can improve the lap time a little bit.”
