During the first day of action at the Tech3 RacingTeam’s home round in Le Mans, BoBendsneyderand Hector Garzoshowed some good performances and made progress. While Dutch Moto2 rookie Bendsneyder was working on his rhythm, he improved by half a second from FP1 to FP2. On the other side of the garage, Garzo, who is replacing the injured Remy Gardneragain this weekend, found his style aboard the Mistral 610machine and finished Friday just 0.373 seconds behind Bendsneyder.

“We started the day in FP1 quite well. In the middle of the session we had some electronic issues, so I didn’t improve, but overall it went well. In FP2 we put another tyre in and we made a step, although I still think we can do a bit more. Finally, it was not a bad day, because in the end in FP2 I did consistent lap times, but we still need to find that one fast lap. Anyway, today we were not focused on this single lap, because we used the tyres for many laps. Tomorrow is the day where we need to focus on qualifying to make the race a little bit easier.”
