Following a great Warm Up session this morning, where Bo Bendsneyder did his best lap time of 1’52.974 minutes on used tyres, the Dutch Moto2 rookie felt well prepared for the race at midday. Unfortunately, Bendsneyder was forced to return to the pit box after the first lap, but will have a full day of testing in Mugello tomorrow.

“After yesterday, we changed the bike a little bit and we made a good step, so we had a lot of confidence for the race and were really focused on it. Finally, there happened something with the clutch and that sort of things happen sometimes. Now it’s just a bad moment for this, but it’s like that. The positive is that we made a great step this morning, we showed that we can be there, so let’s focus on tomorrow for the test, where we hope it is dry and on the next race in Barcelona to show our potential there.”
