Bo Bendsneyder did not have his best Saturday in the return to Portimao this season. The Dutch rider tried to get a good rhythm during Q1 despite not being comfortable riding the Kalex. Bendsneyder will start from twenty-ninth on the starting grid with the aim of improving positions from the start.

“It’s been a really difficult day. Now, we need to understand what we need to do for tomorrow because the race is the most important. We know it will be difficult because we start far behind although everything is possible as we saw in America. It is a long race and if we make a good start we can improve even more. Like I said, it’s important to get more confidence with the bike”.
