Bendsneyder started the race from eighteenth position and was struggling to climb positions over the course of the race. The Dutch rider after an unfortunate outing that relegated him to twenty-second place, knew how to maintain concentration and overcome adversities fighting incessantly until finishing in sixteenth place.

“It has been a difficult race because the conditions have been really tough, the temperatures have been very high throughout the whole weekend. We suffered with the front tyre in the left corners, let’s try to check the data and see where we can improve. Luckily we will only have four days of rest and are already looking forward to Assen, my home GP. I can not wait!”
