Points finish for Bendsneyder at Red Bull Ring

Bo Bendsneyder completed a difficult weekend at the Austrian track. Once the lights went out, the Dutch rider did not have one of his best starts, losing several places along the way. He managed to recover and started to move up positions, fighting a great fight until the end in the points. Bendsneyder finally managed to finish in fifteenth place, adding one point in the Championship.

“It was a difficult race, I had some problems at the start with the clutch. Then we fell behind but I didn’t give up and kept pushing. Due to some crashes at the front we managed to score a point in the championship, although it’s not the position we wanted. We knew it was a difficult track for me, but the important thing was the step forward we made compared to last year. I can’t wait to get back on the bike at Misano and fight for the front positions again. I want to thank my whole team for their hard work this weekend. See you in Misano!”
