The Tech3 Racing duo had their very first outing at the newly added venue in Thailand today. Thereby, both, Remy Gardner and Bo Bendsneyder where able to improve from FP1 to FP2, plus collected many data in order to work well towards the 15th race of the season in Buriram on Sunday. While Gardner concluded day on in P20, just 1.042 seconds from the top, Bendsneyder ended up 24th, only 0.304 seconds behind her teammate. However, the Tech3 Racing pair can’t wait for the third Free Practice session taking place 10.55 local time (5.55 CET) tomorrow to do even more laps on the new circuit and improve further.

“The track is nice, it’s close with the lap times, but I think that’s because the circuit itself isn’t the most difficult one on the calendar. It’s great to ride, just a bit hot. I think we are not so far from the points. We need to improve just for this one lap and the bike felt a bit stiff, so we want to find a bit easier bike for riding here. My lap time isn’t so bad, but we also need to improve on the pace. So we’ll try to have the bike we need for tomorrow in order to get closer to the top.”
