On Friday, after the free practice sessions, the team was very optimistic, especially thanks to our Dutch rider Bo Bendsneyder, who recorded the fourth fastest time on the grid. This Saturday, we were very close to having all three of our riders in Q2. The feelings are good, and the team is satisfied, with a promising work dynamic suggesting that soon we will see the Preicanas bikes in the front rows of the starting grid. The Sachsenring circuit (Germany) has made it clear that today’s weather conditions will not be the same as tomorrow, resembling more those of Friday. The key to the race will be tire selection.
Bo Bendsneyder will start from the fifteenth position. Although he didn’t achieve an exceptional time in P2, he managed to qualify directly for Q2. During the qualifying session, the high temperatures affected tire performance, reducing grip. Despite this, his last lap of the session will allow him to start from the fifth row tomorrow. If he gets a good start, he can fight for a Top 10 finish.
#64 Bo Bendsneyder (P15)
“Today we managed to go directly to Q2, and I am satisfied with that and the work my team has done in preparing for qualifying. Today in Q2 the temperature was much higher than yesterday, we focused on improving some parts of the circuit and, as the data shows, we succeeded. I am optimistic about my team and the work done, and I think we can have a good race tomorrow.”
