Uphill start for Bendsneyder in Austin

The Tech3 Racing duo got off a tricky start for the third round of 2018. While Remy Gardner was trying to find a good line around the Circuit of the Americas, Bo Bendsneyder did her first Moto2 laps around the demanding track aboard the Mistral 610. The talented Australian eventually missed out on the top by 1.649 seconds, while Bendsneyder followed just 0.495 seconds behind her team mate. Both aim to lower their respective lap times on Saturday, starting with FP3 10.55 local time.

“The practice was quite good, I think we did a good job to do many laps here. I just did a small mistake in FP2, but after that I still had the confidence to do the same lap time like I did before. There’s still some work to do. Let’s wait and see for tomorrow, if the weather stays the same or it will be wet. I look forward to tomorrow and I hope that we can improve and make a good step.”
