Bendsneyder equals best ever starting position

Bo Bendsneyder showed her talent again. The Dutch intermediate class rookie improved during the weekend, although changing weather delivered some tricky track time. Bendsneyder eventually ended up in 18th position, which equals his best ever starting spot in the highly-competitive Moto2 category.

“It was a good Qualifying, different than normal because we needed to find out if it was dry or wet. Finally, it was not completely dry but dry enough to set a good lap time. Just on the last lap, I was behind a slower rider and I lost a little time. In the end, P18 for a not so easy weekend is a good result. We worked hard for this. The lap was good and also my fastest at this circuit with the Moto2 machine. Now we have to wait and see how the weather will be tomorrow, but for sure, we will push hard.”
