Breaking news: Bendsneyder to stay in Moto2 for 2021 with the Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team

The Dutch rider joins the Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team to compete in the Moto2 World Championship with the Swiss Tom Lüthi as teammate.

21-year-old Bendsneyder is of Indonesian descent which makes him a perfect fit for the Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team. Bo’s paternal grandparents moved to the Netherlands in 1956 from Surabaya, the capital city of East Java Province in Indonesia, where they often travel to visit family and friends. Bo won the 2015 RedBull Rookies Cup tittle and arrived at the Moto3 World Championship a year later. With only five years competing at world class level, Bo has shown an exceptional talent and the Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team welcomes him to an ambitious project which goal is to win the Moto2 World Championship. The rider from Rotterdam and the Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team are already preparing next season during the winter break. The 2021 season will start at the Losail International Circuit for the Grand Prix of Qatar the 28th of March.
