Points for Bendsneyder in Indonesia

While the riders were already on the grid, IRTA announced that the race was shortened to 16 laps due to the condition of the asphalt. Mas Bo has not had a good start of the race, loosing many positions which has made him having to focus on recovering as many positions as possible. Bo has managed to finish in fifteenth position scoring the first point of the season.

Bo Bendsneyder #64
After a good qualifying yesterday, I expected much more of today’s race. Before the race, we were told that the race was shortened to 16 laps so I tried to make a good start but I didn’t manage to do it and lost a lot of places at the beginning of the race. Then a rider has pushed me wide in turn 10 so I went off track, I went wide and came back p15. From this point, I got very frustrated, I focused on recovering places but I made some mistakes while overtaking so I decided to stay calm, try to focus on my rhythm. We managed to score a point which is not what we expected. We focus on the positives from this weekend and we learn from the negatives. As always, I am very grateful because my team has done a great job.
