Bendsneyder 16th in Qualifying

After a tight morning practice, Bo was only seventy-eight thousandths of a second off the cut, having to go through Q1. During qualifying the Dutch rider managed to position himself among the top three, leading the timesheets at times and moving on to Q2. Finally Bendsneyder qualified in sixteenth position, just seven tenths of a second off the fastest time.

Bo Bendsneyder #64
“During the day we managed to improve, but so did the rest. Although we struggled to find the fastest lap on this track we were able to be among the front runners. I am happy because compared to last year we have made a big step forward, but we are not in the grid position we would like to be. It’s positive to be able to be among the fastest drivers but we have to find where we can improve, especially in the first sector. We will analyze all the information we have gathered to make a step forward tomorrow.”
