Bendsneyder 17th in qualifying

Bendsneyder completes a difficult qualifying day. He started Saturday’s day by getting a direct passage to Q2 in the morning timed practice, by placing in the top ten. In the course of the second qualifying session the Dutch rider gave his best, achieving his fastest lap on his third lap. Finally Bendsneyder finished in seventeenth place, in a session abruptly ended by the red flag due to the intrusion of a group of local geese on the track.

#64 Bo Bendsneyder – P17 –

“This morning was positive, we made a step forward and were competitive. Then in qualifying we struggled to get the fastest lap, but I’m happy with the feeling. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s race, we can do a great result. I also want to add that it’s been a tough few days, that’s why I have not been active in my social networks, due to the great loss of a great and very young Dutch talent, Victor. Also this morning I heard about the news about his mother and it’s been hard. I want to send my condolences and all my strength to Victor’s family. I will try to give a great result to dedicate to him tomorrow”
