DNF for Bendsneyder in Portugal

Bendsneyder was unable to complete the opening race after suffering a racing incident in the opening laps. The inevitable collision of a rider in the first corner sentenced all the chances of our rider on track, action penalized by race direction. With impotence the Dutch rider clings to the good sensations of the preseason tests and of what was disputed this weekend, being optimistic for the next round of the World Championship in Argentina.

The second race of the Moto2 World Championship will take place at the Argentinean track of Termas de Rio Hondo on the occasion of the Grand Prix of the Republic of Argentina next week.

64 Bo Bendsneyder

“I want to thank my whole team for the great job they have done during the winter break and over the weekend. We were unlucky today to be taken out of the race by another rider, I couldn’t get around him. This is part of racing that is completely out of our hands. I’m not happy with today’s result but I’m happy with the good part of the test and to have been able to fight for the front positions this weekend. Motivation is high to arrive in Argentina ready for another race weekend. I can’t wait for Argentina!”
