Bendsneyder P20 in qualifying

Bo Bendsneyder had a challenging weekend from practice onwards. He stood out in the rain in the second practice session and started motivated in Q1, where he showed his speed in the final minutes on a track with mixed wet and dry conditions. He completed qualifying twentieth, just fifty-three thousandths of a second off the cut-off.

#64 Bo Bendsneyder (P20)

“Saturday was difficult due to the track conditions. In the morning we had a wet session, so we knew we would have to go through Q1. In the wet we had a good feeling, but we knew that in the afternoon and tomorrow the conditions would be dry. During Q1 there were still some wet patches, it wasn’t easy to understand at the beginning, but we managed and in the last minutes we were going faster and faster. Unfortunately, we missed out on Q2 by a very narrow margin. We’ll start from the 20th, but we’re positive for tomorrow, so we’ll continue to push.”
