The 2020 season officially started today for NTS RW Racing GP, with the first of three days of testing at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit. Almost three months after the final test in Valencia, Bo Bendsneyder and Jesko Raffin were able to try the completely new and improved machine for the first time. In November, Bendsneyder and Raffin tested a lot of new parts. Based on that test and the data from the previous season, NTS in Japan worked hard to create a new chassis. “A lot has happened…

Difficult season comes to an end for Bendsneyder
The result of Bo Bendsneyder and Tommy Marcon in the Valencia Grand Prix was not what NTS RW Racing GP had hoped for to end the season with. The Dutchman finished 24th, the Italian finished in 27th place. The shortened Moto2 race, however, provided a lot of valuable information with which NTS and the team can continue in preparation for the 2020 season, which starts on Wednesday with a test in Jerez. Based on the practices and the qualification, Bendsneyder and the team had high hopes for points. However, that…

In the qualification for the Grand Prix of Valencia it was clear once again how minimal the differences are in the Moto2. Bo Bendsneyder came only five hundredths of a second (0.05) short to qualify for Q2. In that second qualifying round, his time of 1.35.082 would have been good for seventeenth on the grid. Instead Bendsneyder has to start tomorrow from position 22. His Italian teammate Tommy Marcon starts from P28. On the second day in Valencia, the riders of NTS RW Racing GP continued the rising line of…

Read MoreDisappointment for Bendsneyder
The Grand Prix of Malaysia ended in a big disappointment for NTS RW Racing GP. Bo Bendsneyder crashed at the end of the first lap, Jesko Raffin finished in twentieth place. That was not what the team and riders had hoped for after the good qualification. It was a combination of factors that caused problems. An important factor was that it was a lot warmer on the Sepang International Circuit than during the earlier sessions of the Moto2, so that the grip was a lot less and especially the front…

NTS RW Racing GP worked hard to help Jesko Raffin and Bo Bendsneyder at the Sepang International Circuit and the team succeeded. The Swiss and the Dutchman both made a 2 second progression on the second day of the Malaysian Grand Prix. Raffin reached QP2 and starts the Moto2 race on Sunday from 16th place. Bendsneyder will begin from 23rd. Already in the third free practice both riders of NTS RW Racing GP went much faster than on the first day. They were able to continue that progression in the…
Read MoreDifficult first day at Sepang for Bendsneyder
The Sepang International Circuit with its long straights is clearly a very different kind of circuit than the smooth, winding Phillip Island, where Jesko Raffin and Bo Bendsneyder both finished in the points last weekend. On the first day in Malaysia the riders of NTS RW Racing GP had to deal with chatter. The results therefore lagged somewhat compared to a week ago. After two free practice sessions, Jesko Raffin found his name in 25th place, with a time of 2.08.011. Bo Bendsneyder closed the first day in 26th position…

Jesko Raffin took three points with thirteenth place in the Moto2 race on Phillip Island, Bo Bendsneyder grabbed one with fifteenth place. It was a tough fight in good conditions (dry, less strong wind than on Saturday) on the iconic island in southern Australia. Jesko Raffin started the Moto2 race from seventh on the circuit where he achieved his best results so far. The Swiss managed to hold up well in the battle in the…

Jesko Raffin starts the Moto2 race of the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday from seventh place on the grid. The Swiss gave NTS RW Racing GP the best result so far. Bo Bendsneyder missed QP2 by a whisker and starts from nineteenth place at Phillip Island. The race starts at 3.20 a.m. European (winter) time. The strong wind and a little rain made the Saturday difficult. Nevertheless, already in FP3 Raffin set the eighth time, again confirming direct placement for QP2. Bendsneyder came to the fifteenth time, which was just…

Jesko Raffin and Bo Bendsneyder “Bad Boy #64” started the Australian Grand Prix well. Raffin finished the first day on Phillip Island in ninth place, while Bendsneyder set the seventeenth fastest time in the dry second practice. The riders of NTS RW Racing GP also did well in the wet first practice, with the sixteenth (Bendsneyder) and seventeenth (Raffin) time. In the Australian spring it can get pretty spooky on the island south of Melbourne. That was apparent on the first day, with completely different circumstances in the first and second…
