Despite a good start followed by a solid race in Motegi unfortunately Bo Bendsneyder and Jesko Raffin stayed just outside of the points. Bendsneyder finished 16th in Japan, while Raffin had to settle for 19th. Both riders of NTS RW Racing GP had to come from far. Bendsneyder managed to advance from 27th to 21st in the first lap of the Moto2 race of the Japanese Grand Prix. From there he could win places step by step. After a crash by Mattia Pasini, at whose tail Bendsneyder was sitting for…

Difficult second day in Japan due to rain
The Moto2 has had few wet sessions in 2019 and for Jesko Raffin it was even the first time on a wet track with the NTS. The Swiss quickly mastered the circumstances and rode to eighth place in QP1, which earned him 22nd place on the starting grid for Sunday. Bo Bendsneyder was fast in the pouring rain in FP3, but a crash at the end of that session had consequences for QP1. The Dutchman came to thirteenth in qualifying, making him start the race from a disappointing 27th place.…

In view of the expected rain on Saturday, Bo Bendsneyder and Jesko Raffin had to try as many things as possible and gather as much information as possible on the first day of the Grand Prix of Japan, to perform well in the home race of NTS on Sunday. The Grand Prix of Japan started at the beginning of the week already for Bendsneyder, Raffin and team manager Jarno Janssen with a visit to the NTS factory in Fukushima. “Super nice to meet the people who are working very hard for…

The result was not satisfactory, but the information that Bo Bendsneyder and Jesko Raffin collected during the Moto2 race of the Thailand GP is very valuable. Both riders of NTS RW Racing GP ran into roughly the same issues and frame builder NTS and the team can use that data to improve. The 20th place of Bendsneyder and the 22nd place of Raffin were of course not what NTS RW Racing GP and the riders were hoping for. On the scorching hot Chang International Circuit in Buriram, the asphalt reached…

A very local rain shower threw a spanner in the works in the final phase of the first qualifying session for the Grand Prix of Thailand. For a long time, it looked like Bo Bendsneyder could qualify directly for QP2 at Motorland Aragon. However, in the final phase of the second free practice, the Dutchman was unable to improve his time. He finished the first day in Spain in 18th.
