P14 for Bendsneyder despite crash in Q2

Bendsneyder completes the day’s qualifying in fourteenth position. The Dutch rider started saturday morning struggling to improve his lap times, but the mixed conditions on track made it difficult for him to go straight into Q2. He faced the qualifying with motivation, managing to lap among the best times and pass to Q2. It was a pity that our rider suffered a crash in turn eleven, during the last minutes of qualifying while he was on a fast lap. On Sunday Bendsneyder will start with motivation to make up for it in the race.

#64 Bo Bendsneyder (P14)

“Today we made a big step forward compared to the previous day, the times on this track are very tight. This weekend with the weather changes we haven’t had much time on the bike, but luckily we made a step forward in Q1 and the same happened in Q2. In qualifying while I was on a fast lap I lost the front unfortunately in turn eleven, a mistake on my part but I think these things happen when you are riding at your best. I’m disappointed with the crash because we could have been a row ahead on the grid, but we remain positive. I want to thank my team for the work. We are ready for tomorrow’s race!.”
