Bendsneyder 8th in redflagged race

Bendsneyder, who started the race from 22nd position, showed his skill and determination from the start, skilfully avoiding the crashes in the first group of riders. Once the lights went out, our rider managed to overtake up to eight positions in the first lap and position himself in the top ten. The Dutchman managed to stay on track despite the difficult weather conditions of rain and strong gusts of wind, which affected the entire grid considerably. Due to the extreme circumstances, the race ended abruptly under red flag. Bendsneyder finished in eighth position, returning to the points once again.

Bo Bendsneyder #64:
“I’m very happy to get eighth in wet conditions, as we’ve struggled a lot with Moto2 in the wet conditions in recent years. But we are growing and working very hard in both dry and wet conditions, despite not having many opportunities to ride in the rain. The team gave me an awesome bike today, which gave me a lot of confidence during the Warm Up, allowing me to be fast from the start of the race and keep a consistent pace. I want to thank all my team. Let’s take these positive feelings to Thailand.”
