No points for Bendsneyder in British GP

Bo Bendsneyder ends a bittersweet weekend at the Silverstone track, with a lot of variations in the weather conditions. After starting from the last positions, he tried to start his comeback without success once the lights went out. Our rider was affected in the group incident in turn three when he had to dodge the affected riders, one of them his teammate. This incident caused Bendsneyder to start from the last place, despite this unfortunate start of the race the young Dutch rider managed to retake action with the group and climb positions to cross the finish line in seventeenth.

#64 Bo Bendsneyder (P17)

“First I want to send a message of support to my teammate. Today was a difficult race, starting from 26th position is never easy. At the start I went a bit long in the first corner and later there was a big mess in turn three after a rider went off the track, which affected my teammate directly and I continued the race from the last position. This weekend we tested a new chassis that brought a lot of positive and new things, but we still have to keep working. I’m still struggling a bit to get a good feeling but this is an issue because we haven’t had enough dry weather this weekend, so it’s really good that tomorrow we have a test here and we can do as many laps as possible. We need to have a real test day and find a better feeling with the bike. I want to thank the team for all the hard work they are doing, it feels great after a few weeks without racing. We keep working and the results will come!”
