Renewal Bendsneyder for 2024 confirmed

The Pertamina Mandalika SAG Racing Team is pleased to officially announce two exciting additions to its line-up for the upcoming season. The contract renewal of rider Bo Bendsneyder and the signing of Jaume Masiá promise to take the team to new levels of performance and success in the Moto2 World Championship.

Dutch rider Bo Bendsneyder has proven to be a committed and hard-working rider for the team since joining the team. His commitment, skills and constant evolution in the World Championship have made it irrefutable to continue to count on the presence of a rider who already made us dream in Austin. Bendsneyder has shown great potential in recent seasons, and his experience will be fundamental to the future development of the team.

The team is also proud to announce the signing of talented Spanish rider Jaume Masiá. In his sporting history, the rider from Algemesí has shown immense potential, with 7 victories and 21 podiums to his name. This step forward will not only be a milestone in his career, but also an opportunity to show his worth on an even more demanding stage. From the team we are looking forward to having Masía in the box and to start on a path of success together.

With the renewal of Bo Bendsneyder and the addition of Jaume Masiá, the team is in a strong position to approach next season with renewed determination and ambition.

Eduardo Perales, team principal
“We are pleased to announce the continuation of Bo Bendsneyder for another year. We have full confidence that he can fight to win races. He already proved it in Austin; we just need luck to be with us and for him not to be affected by accidents caused by other riders. We are also pleased to report the addition of Jaume Masiá, an experienced and talented rider with a great hunger for victories. It will be essential to be patient with him, as we have been with other riders in the past. We had an agreement with Carlos Tatay to take part in the World Championship, but the accident at Portimão has caused a delay in our plans. However, the team will be ready as soon as he is. We hope it will be as soon as possible.”

Jaume Masiá
“After five years in Moto3 I have decided to take the opportunity offered by Team SAG, which has developed a sporting project that has all the characteristics to achieve the best results. I am aware that Moto2 is a difficult category but I am not lacking motivation. Now I have to stay focused to finish this season in the best possible way. The Championship is still long and I must aim to win the title to thank my current team, all the other riders and all the people who have believed in me so far. To arrive in Moto2 as World Champion would be a great joy.”

Bo Bensdneyder
“I am very happy to continue with the Stop And Go Racing Team. This will be our fourth year together and this is good, because people already know you and I know them too, a great team. We know that Moto2 is a very tight category, that means that with small changes the results can vary a lot. In addition to the confidence that the team has given me when it came to renewing my contract. Thanks Edu, Eva and the team sponsors. I am looking forward to starting next year but we are also focused on finishing this season in the best possible way.”
